Tua still have a chance to win some, while Golota seems to be finished
(the arm problem is not promising any further outcome).

So for now if this status unchanges, who had the better career
between two most exciting and most unsuccessful boxers in
    the last two decades?

golota is exciting to watch because he has a cold look of russian soldier but his skill and strength isnt something scary.

Golota is probalby more skillfull but his psyche was so terrible , he was mentally unprepered to be a fighter. He's got good jab but when came to big brawl he had problems. Golota had difficulties with knocking his victims. It was first shown in Bowe fights when Bowe was so hurt taht he should be KTFO but as we remember it didnt happen

Golota is remembered for his missed opportunities and wsted talent. Great talent!!!

It's sad for me because I am form Poland and I saw all his fights.
Just imagine : You wake up in the 3 AM to see fight with Lewis or Brewster, go to fridge for beer and when you're back it's all over:(:(:(:(

    And Tyson fight:( Shame.

Tua never failed so much as Andrew but he fought not that kind of opponents as Golota(Bowe Tyson)

Againts Lewis he was way better but with no chances during the fight no idea how to win, how to hurt Lennox

With Byrd Golota was better, for me winning the fight just like with Ruiz(so 2 belts for Andrew). What Tua did to young Ruiz is just amazing

Tua is a destroyer, Andrew has better technics

Both lost some chances, both were badly promoted-- Lewis for Golota was to early--Tua with only one shot looks weird

Both are better then Maskaev. Ibragimow Liachowitch who had belts

I think Tua will have another chance...that may make the difference

And of course Tua will be remembered for his devastating left hook, Golota for low blows, escaping form ring etc. That's really sad because for me Golota was more skilled then Tua

Golota said in the past that he wanted to be a truck driver , that he doesn't like boxing. I think that in critical moments when he was hurt, when fight was slipping out of control that was the reason of his unexplained behavior

I think Tua is a lot more popular, because of his exciting way of fighting.
So I guess he also made a whole lot of money, without winning one of the alphabeths.

A lot of fans have him on the top of their list of best HW boxers who never won a major title, Golota is high on that list too of course.

This is just an excitement point of view, right before fighting Bowe
Golota was 27-0 with 24 KO ... something like todays Arreola.
Sure Tua's power is more explosive but from time to time he
fails in that department as well.

tua is still better fighter in my opinion, golota is simply not strong enough both in power & mentality. I remember he's fighting a huge guy who I forgot the name, he knocked him down in early round but didnt have heart to capitalize it and end up getting KO'd. Fighter like Tua could finish off opponent when he sees the momentum, Golota never..

I dont know why, but everytime I watch golota fight, his eyes always blank

    Notable wins:

    Tua: Moorer, Ruiz, Rahman, Maskaev

Golota: uhm... losing by DQ to Bowe? We can say this for Golota. No other fighter has been able to parle failing into as much financial/fame success as he has. So, in that sense it's been a great career.

Golota because he pretty much beat Bowe, eventhough Bowe was obviously not the same fighter he was. It's strange, he was almost world champion and only has his self to blame in the most ******ed WAY IMAGINABLE. Golota was such a ****** back then. Even tyson's crazy ass wouldn't do something like that. He bit a ear off because he was losing and got frustrated.

BUT TUA has beat the better guys... so I have to keep this into consideration... So I guess I have to retract what I said above and give it to Tua.

Its hard to say. Tua was never KOed. Tua also has better opponents on his resume. However Tua fought only 1 time for a belt, while Golota fought 4 times. Many people think that in 2 title fights (Ruiz, Byrd) Golota was robbed. He also gave Riddick Bowe 2 hard fights.

Summing up, better resume has Tua. However Golota was much bigger talent.

I would say Tua. He seems to still have a lot left too.

Glota's best "wins" were his dq losses to Riddick Bowe. If boxing was a ball punching contest he would be the best of all time.

Tua has had the better career and it is not close.

I think the problem is that Golota is not good finisher, he had
enough power and skills but he didn't follow the surprise effect to
kill the other guy. Also Golota like box rather than slug.

Tua and killers instinct are the same person.
