Who had better career so far: Tua or Golota?

Golata probably had the better career since he had more title fights. Also, Golata is more capable than Tua of competing in today's world of very big heavyweights. That said, is there any doubt Tua would KTFO Golata if they ever fought? Tua is da man!

Golota had a couple of title fights compared to Tuas one

 

Golota is known for his near wins and for his throwing away of fights. His actual resume is pretty much blank.

Tua has a solid resume. I don't think this comparison is even close.

 

Based on how many title fight losses...... Tua lost less of them so he has the better career jajaja.....oh and its not over like Golotas is:deal

 

Tua easy

 

Golota by performance beating Bowe 2 times and lost. Shoulda got the nod vs Ruiz and Byrd.

Tua got dominated by Lewis and Byrd and cant even be argued as a winner.

Golota weak mental game

Tua got way outta shape and after losing to Byrd did next to nothing.

Not really the biggest fan of either guy but Golota to me on talent and skill as well as performance

Give Tua 4 title shots against the same guys Golota fought, he wins at least one, if not 2.

Thing is......Golota probably won 2 to be honest............

Golota went further and was lucky to get many title shots for being with Don King and even though he lost all we all know he wasn't worth these title shots and he was only given them for being an attraction after the drama from the Bowe fights. The attraction wasn't for anything special or exciting he did in the ring.

 

Golota brought attraction except for the Brewster fight and the Lennox fight he always took it to the champion and was dominating a great champ in Bowe twice as well as beat Byrd and Ruiz but did not receive the nod. I believe those title shots were deserved because he got robbed. If you get robbed your promoter should do everything in his power to get a fight for his guy. Shouldn't Funeka get a title shot before Guzman. Tua was a great attraction too but he got out of shape and then even worse he became inactive. He has some good wins and some hilite KO's against very good fighters but like Golota he had his share of flaws that prevented him from being a champ. I guess these two can go down as the Quarrys and Bonavenas of our era

Golata has good skills, but not enough heart.

I think Tua, with a better trainer and manager, could have been much more successful.

 

tua has better record but golta been in more meaningfull fights that being said they will unless david wins atitle in this last run be rembered as underachivers an what could of shouldve been

 

Golota fought Legends so I gave it to him. I think Tua would beat him tho.
