Depends on what you mean. Almost nobody above 175 brought across serious punches with the same Torque as Tyson. Also, his tiny reach meant he had a shorter arc to cross. Ali's hand probably travelled faster, in straight lines for example.
Ali, but he can't do the things Tyson can do, like knock out a gorilla, or have the feet to be fleet-footed
Ali jabbed faster, Tyson was maybe a little bit quicker with the short inside combinations. Both so quick it doesn't really make a difference, you're splitting hairs.
You should have did a public poll, it allows you to see who voted for what. Anyway, I voted for Ali, he was the fastest HW of all time with both hands & feet, no doubt. Look at my signature, Ali KOing Brian London, HWs should not be able to move that fast, Ali was unique, Mike couldnt throw like that, not on his best day but he`s still 1 of the fastest & best HWs ever himself. :good
It's an inside joke, at another website he made a 200 page thread where he started claiming that prime Mike Tyson was fleet footed and everybody started bitching at him Actually, now that I think about it, he asked if Tyson had the feet to be fleet-footed in almost every boxing site known to man
Tyson. Ali was fast as hell but he pitty patted a lot and looked even faster. Tyson never threw pitty pat.
Muhammad Ali had the best feet in the history of the sport... what are you on about with the fleet-footed comment ? Is this a joke ? :huh
This was actually timed for real according to an Ali documentary I once watched. Cant remember the name but it was presented by Henry Cooper. Ali was just slightly faster but they were recorded as having the fastest hand speed in HW history
I don't know what's sadder, to care that much whether Tyson was fleet-footed or to get owned by Dan Rafael.
