Eubank took punches off a cruiserweight for 12 rounds in two fights after his bout with Calzaghe, Thompson knocked out Haye, so Eubank still had more punch resistance at that point than Haye did, and these bouts came after his loss to Calzaghhe, Eubank always had bad balance.

No Benn was a monstrous puncher at 160, look at what he did to Barkley in one round, there`s no way Joe could have done that to Iran.

G-man wouldn`t have landed a glove on Joe, he was far more elusive than Benn, and G-man didn`t ever use a high guard, he had no defensive skills at all.

he had jumpeddown 2 divisions in 2 weeks, he wasnt fit to fight at smw. the restof the evidence dictates that joe is featherfist.

Toney stops Benn and UD's Eubank all day every day. Had the chin to take Benn's best and the skill to **** all over him, Eubank has the chin and skill to compete but the winner is obvious at the end

He did, but he had a tendency to brawl, that's not a good plan against those two. But yes he beats both

You think ?? Toney could brawl with Benn and still come out on top imo, the gulf for me is huge, he could really f Benn up, after 3/4 rounds at 160, Toney absolutely plays with him, all over by the 8th or maybe sooner..Just my opinion though

I should think that if theres one man you dont brawl with, its Nigel Benn, its commonsense.

When you have Toney's skills its possible. If Benn genuinely hurt Toney, Toney would start to work him, he'd take it as an insult. If Benn had more movement to his game leg wise he'd last longer but hes only robust and tough for half a dozen rounds at 160, he became vulnerable and could be hurt, his pacing wasn't the best, he calmed down and boxed more at 168 but the power wasn't the same. That said, Toney had problems making weight at 160, he could be flat at times, but all the Americans back then, Nunn Toney Jones Jnr etc were blatantly another level to Benn and Eubank

HYou know what Mark I could trot out the old line "Styles make....." , you know the rest it no I'll be honest wit you Mark. I was having a bit of fun wit George & I'm sure George knew that bit of fun. Benn was a master blaster @the weight one better & has to be Da Hawk..now that boy could punch . neither were great boxers though imo.
My main point was how disappointed I was wit Eubanks &Benn @not taking the challenge of Toney or Nunn in their prime!
Keep em coming Mark ,all good fun baby

In his final two years of boxing he challenged then-up and coming contender Joe Calzaghe in a bid to reclaim his WBO super-middleweight title, with a victorious Calzaghe later claiming that it was the toughest fight of his whole career.[3] Eubank's last two fights were against WBO junior-heavyweight champion Carl Thompson, both of which were brutal encounters. In the rematch, Eubank was stopped for the first and only time in his career.
    Joe stopped Charles Brewer.

Toney was better in the pocket than Benn, he slipped and countered Barkley to death in their clash while pinned on the ropes, Benn was hurt by Barkley because he was wild on the inside.

Toney could take Benn`s punchesbetter than Benn would have taken Toney`s, Benn was stopped twice in his career and Toney was never stopped even at heavyweight.
