Manny has faster hands and feet than Floyd but Floyd thinks on his feet faster and he handed him a loss.

Sure you could say that, as that was Floyd's bread & butter which he spent most of his time in training.

Don't say that you'll upset him as he relies on those fallacy quotes in order to justify his beliefs,

That's an understatement regarding a Pacquiao close to his prime & the problems he would cause which wouldn't cease to end for Floyd.

That was the best Floyd who unsurprisingly was fighting yet another end of the line out of his prime fighter in Gatti,

Woah what an example to be used, truly the highest measuring stick of all.

And what an impressive in his prime victory that was, while ignoring all other circumstances & shenanigans surrounding that fateful night.

Tin, Floyd wouldn't even hit combinations like that, it was deemed to risky for him, that's why he always had to reset after throwing every 1-2 shots, i don't know how that's missed,

It's why you have so many fighter's today trying to mimic his back foot, let the fighter come forward all night while i detract & only punch after he has thrown in counterpunch style, which Floyd has further popularized especially in todays current American Fighters, it just keeps you in the safe zone,

To fight anything close to Pacquiao you really have to be courageous & fearless to a lesser degree.

Floyd's feet were much quicker, and his footwork was far superior. Handpseed is close, though. A bit of a toss up where I tend to agree with @drenlou on that point.

I'm a bit surprised that you and others claim to believe Pac had quicker feet.

Maybe Floyd had the quicker reflexes? Manny's pendulum step was fantastic, and for being the shorter guy, with the shorter reach, he had to close distance very quickly. Floyd rarely fought at a size disadvantage and never fought at a reach disadvantage. I think a good argument can be made that Manny had the faster feet and hands, but Floyd's boxing IQ and reflexes were better than Manny's.

Another casual who doesn't know **** about boxing. I guess pbf didn't see a faded erik Morales give pac that work years earlier?
Secondly how many fighters have you seen land combos on pbf? Pbf isn't there to be hit and arguably had the best defense in the history of the sport. Combination punching is irrelevant when discussing this match up and is a casuals argument. What you should be focusing in on is pbfs ability to control range and dictate distance on pac where he could use his superior one punch speed to either beat pac to the punch or catch pac as he tried to get in range that's why pac can't beat pbf he has no answers for that. The ability to throw one punch with speed and accuracy is more useful in a boxing match than Combination punching. Combination punching is useful against overmatched opposition and casuals like you who think it matters in a fight with pbf-pac.
Pbf was the faster fighter of both hand and foot.

What often gets overlooked in such discussions is mental quickness or speed.

Floyd had the extraordinary ability to process what was occurring in the ring faster than the vast majority of fighters, including Pac.

So whether Pac had faster hands or feet is almost irrelevant, since Floyd's mental quickness would have generally resulted in more timely (and favorable) reactions/responses.

Manny's lead foot is faster than Floyd's back foot. I don't know how anyone can argue otherwise. Watch closely. I've timed it and it's definitely faster. I do concede that Floyd's lead hand is faster than Manny's lead hand and back foot but Manny's backhand is faster than both.

Floyd's feet were not quicker. His reach allowed him to fight at a safe distance and retreat after throwing a punch lending to his elusiveness. For pure foot speed Pac was faster. No one got around the ring faster.
