Tyson is no Shavers or Foreman when it comes to power indeed. Still better p4p-wise than Jones.

At Mw and even SM id say Roy had an awesome punch but he shouldnt even be in this discussion because we found out his chin is weak, we just didnt know about it before because his reflexes were so good we never saw his chin tested.

oh yeah i'd defintely agree Tyson had more power than Jones p4p. But still Jones had great power no matter what.

    Tyson had ferocious power.

Foreman and Shavers had death defying power.

He got hit with an occasional good punch in his prime from big punchers and he was only down once in his prime.Ruiz landed some hard punches on him and he wasnt hurt.I think its a bit of a myth that he had a bad chin in his prime

i think one can question tyson on allot of things..but he took a good shot..yes he was knocked out...but it was after taking hardcore beatings for many rounds..or being old and out of shape plus taking a beating for a few rounds....

    Ricardo "El Finito" Lopez

    1 Punch KO Power (check)
    Great Chin (he's Mexican, check)
Great hand speed (maybe not great natural hand speed but excellent punch technique made it seem pretty fast)

I think Tyson's power qualifies as great, as well as his speed and his chin. Incidentally, Tyson has more 1 punch KO's over top 10 opponents than both Foreman and Shavers.

Roy is also a good choice.
I think his chin was much better than given credit for; you don't go from middleweight to heavyweight and maintain success without having a good chin.

    Doubt it?

    Look at Chris Byrd.
    Took punches from:
    Bert Cooper
    Wlad Klitschko
    Vitaly Klitschko
    David Tua

Goes down to LHW and all of a sudden Shaun George, a non puncher knocks around the ring like a rag doll...

Manny Pacquiao at 135 and 140 genuinely does fit this description... if you can judge him on only two performances at those weights.

    How about Aaron Pryor?
