different kinds of power. im not gonna sit here and say wlad was a bigger puncher but they are comparable. wlad throws much sharper, straigher punches. Foreman had those murderous uppercuts with either fist that Frazier just walked into. Both were/are murderous punchers

Wlad had 45kos in 51wins. Foreman 68ko in 76wins. 88% and 87% ko rate respectively.

If Formean had hit Peter with the bombs he hit Fraizer with Peter would be an after thought !

you cannot compare records, due to the fact the quality of fighters were much higher in 60/70's

No, i have previously stated why i begun this thread due to people saying peter has a better chin (5 people have voted for peter in the poll).

i rate wlad's punching power highly, just not in the same league as foreman, but very few are.

possibly. peter seems more built to take that straighter puncher. the hooks and uppercuts seem to bother him much more. still, peter's chin is rock solid. i don't see how anyone could say otherwise.

    fair enough

Vlad is not near the fearsome puncher Foreman was. I mean, Foreman without a doubt in the top three hardest punchers of all time...Frazier was down twice to Bonavena, came back to outpoint him. The question should be is, how would Peter have fared against George`s bombs. I say if Klitchko drops him, Big George finishes him...

Frazier was only ever dropped by two men, Bonavena early in his career and obviously Foreman. While his chin was not granite like say McCalls or Chuvalos, it was still solid which is very evident in the Ali fights.

Peter has a solid chin as well which was on full display during the Wlad fight. But I have the feeling that fight ruined his ability to take a punch. He was dropped 3 times and nearly put out by McCline who isn't a monster hitter, and Maskaev also wobbled him. Time will tell if Peter still has a good chin, but Fraziers chin was very good and deserves the nod.

yeah right. did u see the wlad-peter fight. dude showed a friggin granite chin! u think frazier would have held up to that? I don't know.

don't just mention the mccline fight and ignore his fight with wlad. we are not arguing who was a greater fighter.

Did u see the maskaev fight? he ate up some huge power right hands from maskaev, a very good puncher in his own right.

it's very possible the eardrum injury has some legitimacy
