Hearns at Welter. He had leverage and could set his punches up, but JJ had a more powerful raw power.
Cannot really answer this, one way or the other. Jackson had a heavy thumping concussive punch - Hearns freaky power was combined with leverage and speed. The way Hearns threw a knockout punch was quite unique.
Good question but the level of competition they KO'd was so different. Roberto Duran had never been close to Ko'd and Hearns did that to him? Unreal. When Jackson went up in competition (vs Mccallum or Mcclellan) he couldn't knock his man out*. * Terry Norris excluded, but he didn't have a sturdy chin
