    Prime Hearns at 147-154.

Who had the best chance of causing a upset in a h2h scenario?
    Oscar, Floyd, or Trinidad?

    Tito
    Floyd
    Oscar

in that order. Tito was an enormous welterweight with huge power. Tommy tended to fade down the stretch and Tito has been known to come on late.

Floyd could outbox Hearns for long stretches IMO. Baldomir verson of Floyd survives til Tommy fades and potshots him to a close UD...or Tommy bombs him out mid rounds.

Oscar isn't as good a slugger as Tito and isn't as good a boxer as Floyd. He's just a bad tweener.

Maybe Oscar, good chin, good speed & good power might be able to take enough shots to deal out his own damage and take Hearns out with a big left hook, I doubt it though.

Tito has a punchers chance, but would most likely be blasted out.

Floyd may be able to last 12 rounds, but I dont think he has a chance at winning.

Tommy could have beaten all those guys and then again, lost to all three.. I don't really like Floyd's chances that much. He's kinda small for a welter and didn't ascend to that division until he was already in his thirties. Tommy was also out boxing a prime Leonard for most of their 1981 meeting, before he gassed and stopped punching which led to the late stoppage.. I don't know if Mayweather could pull that one off.

I think Oscar. Oscar is durable enough, and had good power. He's a good all around guy that can scrap a bit, but a bit, move when needed. Wouldn't bet on it, but he has the best chance of the three listed.

Tito has power, but Hearns would have no trouble out boxing him and stopping him.

Floyd is slick, but lacks the power and is a bit undersized to deal with The Hitman.

tito, if he could keep the fight up close. then oscar and i think floyd is too small to trouble hearns for more than 8 rds.

    Tito?

Oscar. and it's not close. oscar had the chin and would sucker Hearns into brawl mode mid rounds and look for the KO. If not, he'd lose a big UD or corner stoppage. Hearns dips down low enough, and drops his hands enough to give him a chance.

Tito gets stopped by round 6 or so, starts to slow and is too chinny for Tommy. and Floyd loses basically every round.

Nobody is going to outbox Hearns from 147-154 from those 3, Mayweather would have the best chance even though Hearns is a stylistic nightmare for him. There's a reasonable if small chance Tito could spark Hearns due to the power he was packing and when you factor in Hearns chin was never that good. The only chance Oscar would have is landing that left hook.

Tito's got the best chance of bombing Hearns out, not that it's a very good one. Despite his superior chin, Oscar will be stuck on the outside and is going to get hurt. He could certainly survive longer than Tito, but he doesn't force the issue to the same degree and he doesn't hit as hard. Maybe he'd catch Hearns here and there with a few big shots, but the Hearns chin isn't as bad as its made out to be. DLH isn't stopping him. Tito probably gets taken out quickest, but at least he poses real danger.

Floyd has no chance. He'd be clearly outboxed at range and almost certainly stopped at some point. The dimensions, attributes, and style of Hearns are all wrong for Mayweather.

    Oscar > Tito > Floyd

In order of most to least chance.

Mayweather has the skills, but he's probbly too small. I think that De La Hoya is a better boxer than Trinidad. When Hearns wanted to he could be a very good boxer in his own right. I think Hearns's chin is underrated. However the x-factor here might be power. This gives Trinidad the advantage and in my opinion all things considered the best chance.

Tito. He is the best closer of the 3 and Tommy would have no choice but to watch out for that vicious left hook.

I got Tommy by UD on this one.

Trinidad since he is the most capable of knocking tommy out.
