Roids make it easier to build muscle faster for starters. They don't take roids for no reason.

Bottom line - Toney used roids and increased bodyweight. He would have had a bit better muscle/fat ratio than without them.

Roy did not hit harder than Hearns hit Hagler. Hagler was hit clean, and Hagler was hit by Mugabi and didn't even wobble.. It is about being hit clean and staying up. Hagler never was knocked out. and took on everyone. Hearns and Mugabi were two of the biggest hitters.

Strange argument as Toney was hit clean by Peter, Rahman and Holyfield. They hit harder than Hearns. A much better argument is that Hagler was never visibly hurt, yet Toney was.

Are you really trying to argue that roids make a better chin ???

It's blatantly obvious what i am saying and conveying.

Are you trying to say substantially more weight and muscle mass to the tune of dozens of pounds wouldn't help?

it is the fact that Hagler was hit clean and he never wentdown. We can ignore Roldan, that was Roldan pulling him down. although that shows how strong Roldan was, he took Hagler right down.

I can agree that. That is why I voted for Hagler too. But keep in mind that Toney was hit by bigger punchers than Hagler.

What you are saying is wrong then. Roids do not improve your chin. You can't train a good chin, either you have it or you do not

it is true. I think more about Hagler at that top top level taking Hearns punch. And Toney did a lot of the leaning on the ropes where he saw many punches coming as he tucked himself in. Hagler was hit in ring center when he was not expecting the punch.

I always thought that old George Foreman despite the far greater weight was more durable than the young prime Foreman.

I would agree as would the majority. Boxeo will sit on the fence tho as he has a foot in both camps.

Until you answer my previous questions x about 10 the discussion is void. I am thinking of making a thread on this.

Let me make it very clear -

Roids make it easier and faster to add lean muscle mass and weight.

Do you think the steroid assisted Toney after having added huge mass (including neck size) took a better punch at 230 than he did at 160????? Do you think Reggie Johnson's punch would have dropped the 230 pound Toney?

Two simple yes or no's. Man up boxeo.
