I might say Leonard. Obviously he was able to take Hearns shots better than Duran....Duran's chin was rock hard as well.
It's toss between SRL and McCallum for me i'd go with Mike He fought prime toney and RJJ when he was an old man. He fought Donald curry and julian jackson also Kalambuy and watson and was never Ko'ed
I voted McCAllum but in retrospect should've went Chavez. McCallum was also very, very good defensively, which helped him through Roy Jones. How McCallum lasted the distance with LHW Jones at that time I'll never know, although Roy did have a lot of respect for 'The Body Snatcher'. However, I'd probably have to say Chavez. Am I right in thinking that CHavez had never put on the deck in his entire life before Randall. Okay, it was a very heavy trip to the canvas, and I think other fighters might've been stopped (as Chavez was not with it right until the end of the fight) but Chavez waslike....91-0-1 as that point. Rosario couldn't put a dent in Chavez, and I think that says a lot for his chin. I think Hagler has the greatest chin of the 80's though. EVen though Duran was stopped by Hearns relatively early, I do not think it detracts from his chin one little bit. He later went 15 with Hagler at MW, so his chin is proven. Dropped a couple of times at LW but never hurt. Duran has a fantastic chin too. Ray Leonard had a great chin in his prime, only wobbled a few times as far as I can recall. Went 14 rounds with Tommy Hearns before stopping him, and took a lot of jabs and some hard rights in that fight. Leonard's skill in slipping punches led him to take less hits than the likes of Duran and CHavez though, who seemed to abandon clever movement and defence as they got further into their careers, although, given the level of opposition and the increase in weight, bulldozing was often the only way to go about it for these two guys as they got older. So, I picked McCallum, who also withstood a 2-rond assault from Prime JMW Julian Jackson before returning with his own artillery and being the first man to beat Jackson. That says a LOT about McCallum's beard IMO.
I would never be sneaky about saying Mike McCallum is a truly great fighter. He's easily a top 100 OAT in any decent list, though now I personally would have him top 70 I think. I wouldn't call him an ATG because I believe only the top 50 fighters ever deserve the title of a Great for All-Time (the term is devalued by saying the 99th best fighter ever is a Great for All-Time, just my opinion), but there's no agenda with this thread, it's just asking who people think has the best chin out of four GREAT fighters with GREAT chins.
