SRL took bombs from a prime Hearns and stopped him. McCallum has a good case as well. taking bombs from Julian Jackson.
are you serious ? how the **** can you say mccallum is one of the 100 greatest to ever put on a pair of gloves ? :huh thats just ludacris
Leonard and McCallum both took punches from GREAT all-time punchers, top 10 all-time punchers, at their peak weights at their peak performance. I automatically learn towards these. If I had to be drawn maybe McCallum based on what he did years past his best well over his prime weight. It's hard to argue with the longevity and weight scaling of Duran, and Chavez also deserves a mention as I don't believe his defence was quite as top notch as the others. McCallum!
i voted ssr for the very same reason..just goes to show how much skill and talant ssr have as a boxer
Julio Cesar Chavez for me. Out of everybody on the list, I think he took the most punishment throughout his career, and not even a prime Oscar De La Hoya could put away a shot Chavez. It's him for me, the other fights could take a shot when they had too, which wasn't often.
