Wilfredo Benitez go watch the Hearns fight did any of the other 3 you mentioned ever engage a fighter as dangerous and of the magnitude of Hearns in the Benitez fight and did they stay in the pocket and make a dangerous strong KO artist miss like a mother****er by just moving his head and positioning his body while still trying to throw blows? Wilfredo needs to be mentioned
P S. check out Niccolino Loche

Whitakers' defence was bopping his head around.
    Wright shouldn't even be here.
Mayweather wins this. The amount of punches which land on his gloves in one of a kind.
    That's defence.

    At his very best, Whitaker.

Whitaker was more flashy with his bobbin weaving and deep dodging but for overall effectiveness in defense in everything, then Floyd Mayweather is better overall.

High Guard, Dodging, gliding footwork, parrying, philly shell, rolling with the punch.

Which is why at 36, Floyd is still undefeated, never been seriously hurt and still the number one fighter in the sport with no brain damage.

Whitaker and Floyd are equal....but if you had to pick i think because Whitaker did his work against superior talent you gotta give the edge slightly to Whitaker.

winkys defense was just high guard turtling, in his early days he did the occasional slip and dodge but winkys defense he was just there to be hit. although his defense was superb against Trinidad.

I would say mayweather's defense is the best. to make people miss that close to him is insane

Whitaker as far as pure defense, but I will say that I think Floyd works off his defense as well as anyone, in addition to being one of the best defensive fighters of all time along with guys like Pernell and Jack Johnson.
