    it's hard to argue with armstrong. it's a damn shame cause robinson and charles had brilliant years in 1942...i wonder if there's anyone else who can compete?

    How about Greb in 1919? 45 fights, 45 wins over the likes of Mike Gibbons, Jeff Smith, Billy Miske, Battling Levinsky, Mike McTigue, Bill Brennan, Leo Houck, Willie Meehan, Zulu Kid, etc. Most of them multiple times.

    Terry McGovern had a 10 month span at the turn of the century where he KO'd all 3 world Bantamweight, Featherweight, and Lightweight champs, going 20-0-1 with 18 knockouts, many of them against top notch opponents outside of the 3 champions mentioned (Palmer, Dixon, and Erne).
