    Mayweather beating Corrales was as close to a perfect performance as you can get. Everyone thought Chico was going to KO Floyd.

    It was an amazing performance, not trying to take anything away from that. However, in the interests of correctness, the odds for Floyd Vs Corrales were about even going into the fight.

    Corrales was 2.5 to 1. +200 on a Corrales KO. I remember in RING mag detailing the fight.

    The odds swung towards Floyd as the fight approached, if you google / read some reports from the time you can verify that. I appreciate many thought Corrales by KO was a likely outcome, but +200 still only implies a 1 in 3 chance.

    Anyway, it was an amazing performance and not one I'm trying to detract from

    Both had great careers. Floyd's arguably the best defensive boxer in the boxing. Pac the most exciting boxer. Can we just appreciate both. I got love for Marquez as well. Without each other they wouldn't be where they are. I can appreciate both for different reasons. To pick who is better. We will see in the future. Right now slight edge to Floyd..

    Pacquaio's run in the 00s is one of the most impressive runs in all of boxing. He did have 2 draws and 1 loss. However, he avenged one of those draws and he also avenged his only loss that decade. Twice. Both by knock out. Just look at the people this former Flyweight beat during that time;

    Lehlohonolo Ledwaba
    Marco Antonio Barrera x2 (Forget Floyd/Corrales. The first fight at the time was a huge upset.)
    Érik Morales x2
    Juan Manuel Márquez (1 draw aswell)
    David Díaz
    Oscar De La Hoya
    Ricky Hatton
    Miguel Cotto

    All of these guys were ranked in the top 10 in their divisions. Some of them were top 10 p4p
    5 of them are Hall of famers

    Both of their resumes would be massively boosted if they fought each other when it actually mattered. They had a chance to make ATG Vs ATG in their primes.
