Toney's chin has been tested more against much bigger opposition

There's no clip of Golovkin or Hagler doing this:

The knockdown vs Jones was Toney trying to copy RJJ's taunting, and he paid the price but it was balance issue not his chin.

The knockdown vs Johnson was legit but I feel like Toney's durability improved as he moved up in weight.

Toney was never stopped in 77 fights and was only dropped 3 times whilst having fights from Middleweight all the way up to Heavyweight.

As I said in previous post Hagler has best chin at Middleweight although Golovkin isn't far behind him.

But P4P its Toney because he fought Cruiserweights and Heavyweights without being stopped, and some of them like Jirov, Peter, are noted punchers.

I can't see Hagler or Golovkin moving up that much and taking punches from 190-200+ pound men.

This is entirely speculative. We can only measure them at the weight that they were the same at.

Well that's why my original post is more accurate.

Hagler has best chin at Middleweight.

    But P4P its Toney.

So you're basically comparing a heavyweight to middleweights? Great thread.

op named 3 fighters and asked who had the better chin. they all had great chins, imo one of them fought all the way up to hw and wasn't ko'd.
