Hmmm, I don't know. Let me check... Does this look like something a Tyson fan would type? It's obvious sarcasm and you do type something similar in many of your posts.
I'm sorry you take it that way, it certainly wasn't directed at you in any way. I have Iron Mike at #9 ATG, not shabby at all, and have HUGE admiration for his 80s reign. He was sensational. But I guess I'm a hater. I always saw you as far more than a Tyson-ite, my friend. Hey, if Mike's your favorite fighter I can completely sympathize with that, I feel that way about Holmes and Foreman. I just would never deliberately disrespect you. Ever.
The thread was screaming for a non biased high level post and it got it. Good post. Did you see the Dynamite Douglas fight?
Wow, that's awesome! I never thought I'd see the guy @The Morlocks talked so highly about. Just as aggressive as I expected, and surprisingly technical. Thanks a bunch for sharing.
Anytime mate i found it after reading your post that there might not be footage. I thought i'd seen other footage of him but had that wrong. It's sped up and not long but it's pretty interesting regsrdless!
Whose that? styles make fights....Bonavena landed on him, Quarry landed on him, Chuvalo landed on him, wild swinging Foreman landed on him....he wasn't hard to hit he usually outworked everyone
no comparison mike way better defense his was patient counter punching waiting for the right moment to land the perfect placed punch mike would sometime even pivot I call them switches when all of a sudden he would leave his hands down then jump to a side and counter never seen nothing like it in hw since it's real risky for being hit with something hard which Is why most dont do it joe defense got better as time went on when he was in his transformation his defense would allow him to duck while moving forward punching his way in both was impressive to me but mike style was way more pretty to me way more effective
