    Probably Carlos who used it alot in different ways.

    Carlos can snap,get rangy and pressure with it.

    Both had good jabs, but Monzon used his as has been mentioned, as a varying weapon of different types depending on circumstances. It could be a defensive measure, a range finder, or a pile-driver used to set up power shots.

    Note the way he uses it to mask the right hand against Napoles. True, he’s kind of holding the left in Jose’s face and bringing the right hand over, but that’s the variance we’re talking about. He uses it ingeniously. Kalambay’s jab is perfectly good, and a nice implement in a slick, tidy style. But it didn’t have the standout effects Monzon’s had.
