Who had the better Jab ?? Larry Holmes or Lennox Lewis

    Not taking anything away from the legend Larry Holmes ..who's jab was amazing ...Lennox however fought a more IMO athletic standard of opponent ...

    Larry Holmes and Wlad are in a class of their own. Lennox's was nice, but he didn't chalk anyone with it like those two...

    I would say Holmes without much problem but maybe I'm not seeing what you're seeing.

    Larrys jab was 10x better than Lewis, any knowledgeable boxing person could tell you that. Its not even close Lewis pawed with his alot, Larry snapped his out there alot and set everything up off that Jab. Bowe had a better jab than Lewis, so did Foreman so did Liston, Carl Williams,Ali and quite a few others.

    yes i agree, if we are talking about middleweights wat about steve collins jab, it was lighting quick and always found its mark

    I hear yu guys about Holmes jab..im just sayin tho ..Holmes fought Bigger standup guys ...guys yu cud jab and NOT miss ...after further watching this vid ..Foremans Jab seemed the most damaging as was Bowe ... i think the criteria regarding the jab should ..Accuracy , Speed and Damage caused ...this of course is comparable to the opponent faced..I agree Lewis does paw frequently ..as does Klitscho ...but when he levels it off ..boy its a doozy ...

    Just playing Devils Avocate ..sparking some good debate ...

    This man has it right on the money. Lennox's probing jab doesn't quite stack up to the best in heavyweight history. :deal

    In addition Holmes and Lewis were Heavyweight World Champs so technically fought at the highest level ...someone mentioned Carl Williams ...great jab ..as had Tyrell Biggs and Pinklon Thomas ...but again comparable to oppenents faced

    Holmes, but not by the huge margin some would have you believe.
    Lewis's jab is underrated by some, hell you'll even hear daft things like Holmes jab was "10x better".

    Holmes by far is the better "Jabber". Holmes literally beat you up with the jab. It looked like it hurt. You almost begged for a right hand. Holmes tops the list for a reason. He fought some tough opposition and people who did move but that jab can make a man one dimensional. Especially since he would change the speed of his jab.

    Homes had the best HW jab ever in my opinion. The thing was a rocket and his main weapon.
