Lewis had the better jab because he used exactly how it's meant to be used! Lewis used it to set up his power punches and to dominate and manipulate his opponents. Wally klit uses his jab to keep danger at a distance, he uses it as a method to achieve non-engagement and as a means to win fights without fighting.
Wlad's is MUCH better than Lewis's. Lewis had a good jab and all, but Wlad's jab is a punch that stands up on its own.
Wlad has the better jab (not by to much), Lewis had the overall better skills, and used the right hand much better.
I think Lewis had the better jab because he put more power into it than wlad,Wladimir seems to paw with the jab a lot and it always seems like lewis threw it harder than him.
Wlad he can win a fight on a jab alone also his jab has to be one of the most powerful jabs i have ever seen he throws it more often then most heavyweights ever have and he can control good fighters with it Lewis had a great jab but its not better than Wlads
Wlad. Can think of better jabbers at lower weights, just not as dominant as a heavyweight one due to size and weight.
I voted Lewis. For me, the whole point of a jab is to create an opening for another punch. Lewis often followed his jab up with another shot so it seemingly done it's job. Wlad however, is more content to simply throw the jab and not follow up. While effective, it almost loses the point of the punch for me as it's not followed up often enough with anything meaningful
But we're talking about the jab alone. Not what happens after, that is up to the opinion of the fighter.
