I hate to break it too u, but Campas, Carr, Vargas, and Mayorga were all Trinidad left overs by the time Oscar fought them with Trinidad beating the first three while they were undefeated.

Yes I can, just because one fighter stops the a common opponent early that does not automatically mean that the fighter who got his ass handed to him has been shot or had been popped as you would suggest.

Lets also keep in mind Trinidad had Mayorga move up to 160 to fight him Oscar fought Mayorga at the weight he was comfortable with.

Hate to break it to you just because those guys lost to Trinidad first that does not automatically mean they are shot or softened up...

Tell that to Vargas. That first shot Tito planted on him in less than a minute of the first round was the beginning of the end. He was beaten bad from 1 through 12 and got dropped hard 5 times. Broken

Vargas was already softened up by Wright and Quartey. He had tough fights with both fighters.

Vargas was if anything softened up by his bad out of ring habits mother ****er didnt take care of himself in between fights in which he would balloon up to 200 pounds that is always going to show in the ring which it did with Tito Winky and Ike and Oscar.

Sure it is not always the case that a fighter is shot or softened after a loss but it is hard to deny that for Trinidad. All you have to do it watch Vargas, Mayorga, Ried, and others prior to Trinidad and then after to realize either they were not the same fighter and/or that their chin was ruined.

Vargas was dropped and hurt badly by Wilfredo Rivera who was not known for his punching power one fight after Trinidad. Chin was ruined and I think we can all agree that he was never the same.

Mayorga was known for having one of the best chins prior to Trinidad. His next 3 losses were KO losses. Chin just wasn't the same.

Yori boy was supposed to be the next chavez at 56-0 when he fought Trinidad. He came up short of those expectations.

Reid and Joppy, do I really need to explain.

Other fighters have been ruined before like Meldrick Taylor after chavez, but I can't think of a boxer who has ruined more fighters than Trinidad.

Huge fan of both, but DLH imo. He put fighters on their asses with that hook. He set it up with feints too (DLH v Vargas). The knockdowns of Ike Quartey, Fernando Vargas, and Ricardo Mayorga were spectacular. Tito had more of a thudding left hook, but his wraps were exposed by Hopkins camp so I question his legacy.

Tito had the more heavier left hook , Oscar had the more sharper, quicker Left hook . Either way you would be in trouble if those hooks connected on you .

Trinidad. His was monstrous. I would rather get hit by a DLH left hook than a Trinidad left hook.
