Who had the greater win: Joe Louis or Lennox Lewis

    Just imo, Lewis defeated the far better fighter and Louis defeated the lesser fighter far more emphatically - save for the isolated KD Joe suffered.

    As to which was the better win, it depends on how much weight you give to those individual components - accounting for both quality of opponent and ease of victory.

    David Tua was a hundred times better than Tony Galento.

    Galento lost or tied 32 times in total. Everyone beat his ass. Joe Louis was embarrassed Galento dropped him, and then got up and tore Tony's face off.

    Tua was feared back then. Galento was kind of a clown who might get one over once in a while.

    Lennox beating Tua. Tua was a serious contender with better wins, a better record and better physical tools than Galento

    Galento was a very tough guy. Not someone you wanted to run into on the streets. But his style and conditioning would favor him in some circumstances
