    Tua, by far.
Morrison was a decent fighter, but his power is very overrated.

Both these guys had their strengths and weaknesses, but all in all Morrison in my opinion had the more powerful left hook..

    Gotta go with the Duke..

I don't think it really mattered. They both had superior power in their hooks, more than enough to get anyone in trouble. It mattered more who was better at setting up their hook. I think Tua was better at setting the table for his hook. Too many times, Morrison tried to get by forcing it into action, leaving himself gassed or too open.

Another tough one. I think that Tua had the better left hook.

    Probably Tua.

The John Ruiz punch was spectacular.

People call me crazy, but I agree. Though it's close. The sound Morrison's hook made when landing crisp :scaredas:

I watched the Ruddock fight about 2 months ago, and Morrison hit him so hard with the left hook Ruddocks head sounded like it exploded, even thou he pulled himself up you could see the fear in his eyes the rest of the fight, until the ref stopped it...
The power all comes thru the legs and leverage..

Yep. And I know Art Tucker wasn't a world beater or anything, but that hook Morrison cracked him with at the end of the 1st sounded like an explosion.

wow, that is a tough question, both guys come to mind when thinking of the hardest left hook of the last twenty years or more,,,

both guys at the very top level sucked a bit when it came to having ALL the skills and abilities it took, I think Morrison's could potentially of been quicker by a shade. Maybe I think that because he was taller and thus Tua far more often had to LUNGE up to deliver his left hook?

Both left hooks looked so FLUID when fired and were both compact and short overall.

Basically flip a coin for me. I would say Morrison, but if were wrong I would not be surprised. That Ruiz fight was shocking. As well it may have been with a Right when Tua fought Moorer, however, I was impressed with Tua's power when he took Moorer out early. (Plus even if it was a right I would bet if it were his left it would of been even harder) Not because Moorer was unbeatable at HW, again same with the Ruiz fight, it was the way that Tua knocked those guys out, there was no resisting, no Zab and the chicken dance of death before waved off by the ref. Tua put those guys to sleep with a type of power that made you wonder when the guy was going to get back up ,,,,

For raw power maybe Tua, but Tommy's was better overall
