hattons has just been measured at half a ton pressure - he actualy broke the equipment first he tried. Thats ten times harder than a normal man, and twice the power of a premiership footballers kick.

Hatton put away Castillo with one sweet left hook. That's the truth of it. We can have all the opinions in the world but that's a fact.

I have been vocal about Hatton abandoning his body attack but in his display he basically told me to suck his balls as he is one of the best body punchers in the game!

Inconsistent yes but its a case of seeing what he can do when he puts it into action.

What about Mguiguan-there was a time when he wreaked havoc with that hook.
For my money I would pick Mickey Ward's lefthook over anyones.I 've seen him turn around a fight 7/8 with that hook to the body!

I got a load of wards fights on DVD.... first fight I saw he beats one of the most technically accomplished fighters you've never heard of.... Alfonso Sanchez. Ward down in the fifth - completely outclassed, two left hooks to the body bye bye sanchez career. He was never the same after that fight.

Thought I'd better add for anyone thinking of watching Ward v Sanchez, if you haven't seen it avoid like the plague. Absolute snoozefest with Ward almost completely inactive until he floors Sanchez as Jeff describes.

Would have been a great contest, but in reality Hatton is different class.

True, but it takes two to make a fight and as I remember it Ward looks like he's not even interested until he lands those awesome body shots.

Ward was no great shakes though was he. Journeyman with ambition? Or is that a bit harsh on the old boy?

Dont get me wrong, I admire the guy and he's given me many pleasurable moments with the trilogy with Gatti, but he wasnt that good, really.
