I went with Chavez. At least in his first 88 fights or so. Sure there was some padding on that record but there were also a lot of top raters and plenty of title bouts. Even the “ bums” he took on in between ranked opponents weren’t as bad as made out to be. Of course Ray Robinson being 120-1 at one point in his career was also pretty hard to top.
Harry Greb. His accomplishments, especially considering his lack of sight in one eye, are remarkable. He schooled the most HOFs in history.
What comedian voted for Mayweather? Come on, stand tall, stand proud, step up to the plate, who is though?!?! This particular list it would be SRR or JCC for me. All time and I'm picking Harry Greb.
I think George Foreman has an argument for most amazing career given that he rose to the top in two different eras with a ridiculously long pause in between. Can’t see anyone ever again doing what he did. (That’s not to say he’s the greatest fighter of all time or anything — focusing on the word ‘amazing’ and what I think that means.)
I forgot him. TBF to myself, I wanted to add a few more boxers, like Jimmy Wilde and Gene Tunney (not Greb since I forgot him) for instance. But they only allowed ten options.
