Who had the most powerful right hand among light-heavyweights post 1940? I am asking post 1940 since there is limited footage available of a lot of great light heavyweights pre 1940.

Obviously Foster had the hardest left hook. But who had the hardest right hand? Moore? Spinks?

People seem determined to rate Sam Langford as a light-heavyweight, so Sam Langford.

I like Spinks right hand for power. It was nuclear.

If you ask about post-1940, then Moore is my choice. If we include all eras, Fitzsimmons.

    I would tend to agree.

I do think Fosters left hook is singularly the hardest punch in modern light heavyweight history. I think Fosters left hook is slightly more powerful than Spinks right hand, but only slightly.

Fosters hook is hard to argue against. The thing i remember about the Spinks Jinx is that basically no-one could take much of it.

The Deputy Sheriff's straight right hand is by far one of the best. The only one to rival it for me would be Saad's overhand right/ right uppercut. But Spinks did have a helluva right hand himself. Those would be top 3 for me.
