Even though he ultimately got his ass kicked, I'd go with Corley. Floyd got tagged quite a bit in that fight, most he's ever been hit cleanly in ANY of his fights, including Castillo - who is too easy of a choice, btw. So. Excluding Castillo, who had the most success putting leather on Mayweather?

Augustus, Chavez, and maybe even Judah, if you're counting clean hard punches; he didn't have a lot of volume, but he caught him off balance and seemed to stun him on more than one occasion.

For those saying Chavez, funny thing...right after that fight, he fought Castillo. After those two fights, its possible people thought he was on the slide, that Corrales was his shining moment

Mayweather took some very clean, hard shots early. Disproving the theory that Mayweather gets stunned the majority of the time he is hit clean and hard by single shots.

i think the corley fight was a great fight- he got touched- and corley put up a good fight. maywethers gotten better since then- but it was his first 140 fight if i remember correctly, and he came out with a few bumps and bruises. mayweather is dedicated though- he hired corley as his sparring partner following and has since gotten better.

I was going to say Corley before I saw your answer. Corley timed him well early in the fight. Not well enough to draft a "Blueprint" but he was in there.

    lol. unbelievable

He took some clean hard shots that pretty much any decent fighter could take and also he touched the canvas.

This is a myth largely popular with people watch didn't watch the fight or listen to the announcers to explain what they are seeing. Oscar landed less than 7 clean punches per round and most of those where laughable body shots that wouldn't put down the couch potatoes on this forum. Oscar looked like **** in that fight and the only rounds I could give him were a couple of close gift rounds. The judges that night did the same thing, but gave Oscar eveything they could. They almost never agreed on which rounds he was winning.
