He also lasted a longer than both Liston and Foreman did against Ali. See? It works both ways.

AJ blocked 6 hooks while on the ropes after being floored by Wlad, he did the same against Ruiz but Andy`s quick hands were too much, compare this to Bruno who when he was hurt completely lost where he was.

AJ is far more skilled than Price.

    This.

Knockdowns are NOT a good measure of 'chin.'

    KO's are.

I'm going to stick with the 6 I picked earlier, but this time with clarification.

Arthur Pelkey - 23-24-3 final record and he was KO'd/stopped 17 times. I always recall seeing his profile picture when he was squaring off for the Photographers against Luther McCarty and saying aloud how much that chin of his looked like Dudley Dooright's.
Bombardier Billy Wells - 48-11 and KO'd all 11 times.
    Fred Fulton - 77-17-2 and KO'd 10 times
    Jack Roper - 63-43-10 and KO'd 15 times
    Richard Dunn - 33-12 and KO'd 11 times
Santiago Alberto Lovell (when he was fighting he was known simply as Alberto Lovell) - 32-16-12 and KO'd 14 times. I believe he was the son of Alberto Lovell of Argentina who fought in the Olympics and the Joe Louis era. I also think he is the brother of Pedro Lovell (Spider Rico from the Rocky movies). I might be wrong on this, however.

I always thought for a guy who looked compact and looked like he could absorb a good punch Bruce Seldon had a terrible resistance.

    There's obviously two categories here:
    1) Guys that were whacked out early by the likes of Butterbean, Shannon Briggs, etc. Opponents who would go down from a stiff breeze.
    2) High level guys who were pretty good but could be kayoed by a hard puncher with the right fight plan. Moorer, Seldon, Norton, Leon Spinks, going down to someone like Lorenzo Zanon. Obviously these guys didn't have the weakest chins in heavyweight history; they competed at a high level and had winning records. But they did have suspect chins and often are mentioned in threads like these.

Seldon's issues, I believe, had more to do with confidence and heart than his chin. Bruce had a bit too much dog in him.
