While that would improve both their chances, they would both still be underdogs,

The writer on the front page makes a great point. Arreola would have a better (still relatively small) chance vs Wlad (who sometimes has a shaky chin) and chambers would fare much better vs vitaly (though his chances wouldn't be great either) because of bigger skill and speed advantages over vitaly as opposed to wlad.

Chambers, because the guy is super talented. He's been better at moving on his feet in recent fights and not just standing in front of his opponent with his high guard. He obviously can't do that against Wlad or it's lights out. If he can continue to give angles, who knows.

Arreola is toast IMO. Barring a lucky punch, he has no chance.

They equally have no chance, Wladimir is just a stylistic nightmare for Chambers. I would say Arreola would have a great chance at beating Vitali, but he hasn't beaten anybody that really is B level and his defense is just **** poor. His skills are that bad and I think Vitali will simply knock out Arreola or pummel him for 12 rounds. I don't even know why Arreola is taking this fight he's clearly not ready for Vitali. Chambers is ready for Wlad though, but it doesn't matter how ready Chambers is, he can't beat Wlad.

I'd say Chambers, which is why WALDO will do everything he can to fight Povetkin. Arreola...**** knows what's going to happen in that one, I wouldn't place big money on any fighter of VITLAYS age that has a history of quitting when the going gets tough.

    give me a break :patsch

and you complain about the huggers. What's chambers gonna do? Counter Wlad from distance? I'd really like to know how people think Chambers can win. Wlad has quicker feet and will never be in range. Wlad has the perfect style to dominate smaller boxers like Chambers. And he doesn't have the type of raw power that can turn a fight with one punch.

Chambers has a good chin but he lacks the power, length and foot speed to effectively pressure WALDO.

don't take my word for it. you should watch and listen to the Chagaev fight more closely. Watt and Darke, two of WALDO's biggest critics ever, were noting his foot speed and ring generalship the entire fight. Wlad's movement for a boxer 6'6'' is incredible.

When Watt is 'nuthugging' Wlad, you better believe he is a damn good fighter :deal

BTW, I give Arreola a 5% chance due to injury/age and Chambers a 1% chance for the same reason.

Neither Arreola or Chambers have much of a chance. Both are outgunned and will be cut down.

Arreola has the better chance of winning. He needs to surive the early rounds. Vitali has a great style for a 6' guy but at 6' 7" it makes him more hittable than he should be. Don't get me wrong he has good defense but it could be better. If Arreola can take his punches I expect him to be able to stay on his chest and land his own shots and wear Vitali down.

Maybe instead of fighting these career ending fights, they should fight each other.
