We have Canelo vs Munguia and Inoue vs Nery coming up and both fights are favoring Canelo and Inoue heavily. Who do you think has a better shot at surprising the boxing world this week? Munguia beating Canelo or Nery beating the Monster?

Munguia. To quote the Rocky series, Canelo's become too civilized, he is content in the things he has achieved and isn't as hungry anymore. He is also getting older and is clearly past his peak by this point, and he doesn't seem willing to take any serious risks since fighting Bivol.

Inoue on the other hand in on an absolute tear right now. The guy hasn't even been fighting at 122 for a full year and is already undisputed there, and seems very willing to fight and destroy every single fighter who dares pose threat to his throne.

It seems more probable that Canelo ****s up and loses the fight than Inoue doing it. Inoue still takes his duty as a champion seriously, while Canelo doesn't even hide that he doesn't want Benavidez.

Munguia by far, Inoue is miles ahead of Canelo…

Nery is getting smoked inside 5 rounds. So Munguia it is. That's going to be a dog fight Saturday night.

I don't give either much of a chance. Nery has more power p4p, so despite the other fair points made above (I agree, Canelo is not so focussed these days) I see it about equal (low) chances.

Inoue would do a better job on Munguia than Clenelo will

I was going to write something similar. Canelo is faded, which would cost him against Benavidez but not Munguia. Inoue is still in the thick of his prime.

Canelo and Inoue will both win but to answer the question, Canelo is past it while Inoue is not.

Munguia has the better chance, but that is still one extremely slim chance. Not to say it won’t be a fun fight, I think it will, but he doesn’t have the speed or power to be a real problem, what he’s bringing is volume and stamina which is usually when Canelo shines.

With that being said, WAR NERY!!!!!!!!!!

Munguia of course. Inoue is going to destroy Nery.

I'm tempted to put some money on Nery, but he's so hittable and has been knocked down multiple times
