    Kambosos has no chance whatsoever.

Canelo has power, so he always has a punchers' chance.

They wrote the song after they opened for Oasis who then treated them poorly. The song was a gentle dig.
Although I'm not that keen on them they were clearly very successful and one of the biggest bands during the Brit Pop era.
I'm not sure why you think I would care about a band I'm neutral on....

Canelo by a mile. Kambosos has zero chance and I dont think the rematch will even happen. No one will pay to see Kambosos get his ass kicked by Haney (who isn’t the most exciting guy to watch). Canelo at least made it interesting even though he was dominated. I’d watch just to see Bivol fight. He’s an excellent technical boxer as he proved to Canelo.

I give George a 0% chance of winning a rematch. Canelo’s chances are low but they are higher than zero and he has the corrupt judges always helping him out so he might win a bogus decision. Still, I give Canelo a less than 10% chance of winning a legit fight against Bivol.

What about the fact that George dropped Haney in the 9th round with a hard left hook to the body? Horrible that the ref ruled that a slip. Clearly should have been a KD. Is that Haney's achilles heel, is he soft to the body?

Both will lose imo but if I had a gun to my head I'd say canelo because he's much better and far more experienced than kambosos.

You fact check, except when you already think you know something, like that you can't score shoulder shots, right? :qmeparto:

I’m not completely sold on Haney but George disappointed me last night. I expected more from him and he failed to deliver. The cards were stacked in Haney’s favor from the start. I know it was in George’s backyard but the ref favored Haney all night.

I need to see the fight again this morning. Was fighting to keep my eyes open last night. Not because it was boring, I’ve been getting up early for work and did the same yesterday to go to the gym. Ten o’clock feels like midnight to me and I may have dozed a little during the middle rounds. Definitely dozed for at least three or four rounds.

Trash Alvarez in 5 seconds? Are you on something? I think what you said about Bivol above was so exaggeration. Nobody can trash Alvarez that fast. He's the world champion in different weight classes not a bum.

Comparing Canelo to Kambosos is embarrassing.. let's be honest the Australian will probably go down as a flash in the pan a bit like Jeff Horn whereas Canelo is a cert for the Hall of Fame .. this was an easy fight to pick, the the Australian got Lopez at his lowest ebb and Fairplay surprised a lot of people but I suspect he won't do much more in boxing and will get beat again fairly soon.. these fighters tend to come along now and again they get one good win but overall their careers lack any real depth and they ultimately end up fading away

Take a closer look at that KD in the 9th. Kambosos wasn't doing himself any favors with such poor jab-defense, but when he did time Haney he had some occassional success. Who knows what he could dial up in a rematch with better preparation and a better approach. I also find it humorous how in both fights many people expected Canelo and George to win, and after losing now see both as having almost no chance to win a rematch. Yes both wins were convincing and impressive by Bivol and Haney for different reasons, but there were a lot of reasons for that. For one, Kambosos missed weight, if he missed weight then he must have been killing himself to make weight, which very well could have affected his performance. Canelo had put on weight, which surely affected his stamina and may have caused him to gas.

People are twisting things by acting like Bivol didn't perform as well as he could have and are ignoring that Canelo gassed hard at a higher weight which is largely why Bivol won. Bivol fought about as good as he possibly could, and Canelo gave like a B- / C+ performance and still almost won. Kambosos missed weight, didn't look as good as he had in the past. Haney dominated for the most part, but still got dropped in the 9th but was saved by the ref ruling it a slip. A better Kambosos could do better. Maybe Kambosos was dealing with too many distractions in the buildup. I think in this scenario, Kambosos fighting on his home turf may have worked against him here. Australia is a crazy place since Covid started. Remember this is the same place that refused to allow Novax Djokovic to defend his Australian Open Title and compete in the tournament.

Kambosos may do better in America without all the distractions that go along with living in such a crazy country like Australia. Hell they didn't even let Haney's father come over to the fight until the last second. Something was clearly not right with Kambosos, and it's a microcasm of things being not right down under. Even while being dominated by jabs he still knocked Haney down and landed some good shots. If he tightens up his defense and gets his diet in order, who knows. But maybe he should think about fighting Devin in America rather than in Crazy Australia again.

    George.

If he lands on Haney's shakey chin, it might turn things around.

Canelo cannot beat Bivol under any circumstances without crooked judging.

I wouldn't give either Canelo or Kambosas more than a 2 or 3 % chance of improving on their previous meeting.

No rematch needed in either case.
