This is an interesting comparison. AJ has better physical tools on paper because he is so much bigger and has better punching power. He has lower stamina and lower boxing IQ. Usyk is much smaller but a much better boxer. I don’t think Joshua has a chance if Usyk is still himself and isn’t distracted by his country being attacked. That’s a lot to deal with, and I believe he’s fighting in Joshua’s backyard where he only got a split after thoroughly dominating.

Bivol is the bigger, faster, stronger, better boxer and dominated 11-1 or 10-2 depending on how you score a close round. Like Usyk he won a tight decision against a big money opponent despite dominating him. Canelo didn’t fight a bad fight, he just fought a better opponent. Canelo’s power didn’t hurt Bivol and the fight was relatively easy for Bivol, who didn’t have a mark on his face and looked fresh in the final round.

Both guys have a slim chance of winning a rematch but AJ probably has a better chance given Usyk’s homeland situation and potential distraction it could cause and Joshua’s massive size advantage. Both Usyk and Bivop have great amateur backgrounds and are very disciplined. It’s going to be very difficult for AJ or Canelo to win a rematch (corrupt judges notwithstanding). With Canelo, you should never underestimate the lengths his corrupt judges will go to give him the W. Nothing would surprise me.

Two massively overrated A side fighters with corruption and herds of blind fanboys on their side just got dominated

This is why we love boxing. The truth always comes out.

Joshua. He has natural physical advantages that, if used correctly, could see him winning this fight.

Canelo has no such luxury. To the objective (or levelheaded) fan, Canelo was never legitimately winning that fight.

As to fans stating that the fight/s shouldn’t happen; I would only apply that to Canelo. It’s a weight division he has no real business being in.

Joshua on the other hand only has that weight division. Plus, as mentioned, could use he clear advantages and make it interesting.

Also, I don’t think people wanted the 3rd Wilder fight as the undisputed fight was on the cards at the time.

Alvarez. One thing Canelo has show is that he is able to learn, and he has no fear or hesitation when he's in the ring.
AJ has some mental barriers to overcome that Canleo does not.

    Not necessarily,
If Joshua lands some early bombs and hurts Usyk then the remainder of the fight takes on a very different complexion.

If in the first 4 rounds Usyk has to dig really deep to recover from being hammered by power shots then his own energy levels will be affected and he’ll be susceptible to any further power punches. It’ll also allow Joshua to dictate the pace of the fight in the knowledge that his power has won the respect of Usyk who won’t be quite as free to come in close as he did in fight 1.

That would then be very interesting!

Neither have much of chance at all IMO, but i'd say Joshua because he won slightly more rounds and he has power that will always give him a punchers chance.

Joshua has a 17% punchers chance. Outright.

Canelo has 10% chance to win by horrific corruption (which was 70% win by corruption chance this weekend but he got dominated)

    AJ.

Canelo is not beating Bivol. Bivol had 20% left in his pocket. He took mercy on him.

A quick re cap,in the third Fury fight Wilder got knocked out ! had that happened in the first fight there would not have even been a trilogy so yes Wilder should have listened and stayed away. Canelo was fighting outside his natural weight division in his loss to a clearly bigger Bivol where as Joshua was soundly beaten in his own division by a clearly smaller man in Usyk. The only similarities between the 2 fights is that the score cards for both fights were terrible and clearly favoured the fighter who brings the biggest money and did not represent the true actual scoring of the fights .

AJ has the better chance. Canelo was the smaller man fighting someone who he couldn't hurt, couldn't outbox, couldn't outmuscle, couldn't overpower, & who was the better boxer with a better Ring IQ than him. AJ atleast has size, power & physical strength on his side & did manage to hurt/bust up Usyk a little bit in the fight (Usyk had considerate bruising on his face after the fight). AJ atleast has a punchers chance, whereas Canelo does not.

it seems there might not be a rematch. It went from yes I want a rematch to we will see what our best options are.

I personally think he loses the rematch and possibly stopped. It will mean another L to his record and back to back lose. These are L in his prime. The first fight he went up and lost. No shame. But if still insist and loses again then its a different view. This will only reiterate people's claim of him fighting soft guys and gets beat facing real opposition.

His best option is t go back to 168. Leave the Bivol rematch along.

Nah, Bivol just outboxed him...he didn't hurt or destroy Alvarez or anything. Alvarez did legitimately win some rounds against Bivol.

Plenty of fighters have won rematches through out history.

If Joshua just puts his chin down and goes to war with Usky he can win without too much trouble I mean you saw the problems Chisora gave him. On the other hand I don’t know what Canelo has to do to beat Bivol that fighte is just all wrong for him and he should prob just except defeat and go back to 168.
