Why do people look back to amateurs to see what someone's chin is like? Look at the pro's and Fury has been knocked down by Malignaggi league punchers. I'm sure people more knowledgeable than me will know of other fighters with solid chins who had been knocked out in the amateurs. Plus if that was a pro fight maybe Price would have recovered.
Fury until Price proves us the opposite. Fury has gone down but we know that he's able to get up and he wasn't in big trouble afterwards
He wasn't in big trouble afterwards because he was hit by a featherfisted bum. Chances are if he goes down from a punch like that, after a much heavier one he would stay down.
What people need to be looking at is how easily Price has been countered in the amateurs....and Fury counters, especially when he's in trouble. Unless Price has dealt with that then Fury will deliver another counter shot and put him away.
Fury I would think, Price has been dropped and stopped many times in the ams and hasnt been hit once by a decent puncher in the pros yet , Fury dropped Price in the ams when he was only 17 = [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QHeLG7e9nT4&feature=plcp[/ame]
He got straight back up and beat him 22-8 so it couldn't have bothered him that much, and yes i beleive he does.
At this moment in time no judgement can be made Price has not fought sufficient level of opposition to be nailed on the chin Fury has been smacked many times and held up, although against lower level fighters, other than that Latvian belly dancer that put him flat on his back about 4 fights ago.
Even Audley wasnt getting ko'd all the time with head gear on in 3rd fights. Like when Bermane Stiverne sparked Price
