the thing with dundee is he wasn't a "trainer" as such my that i mean he never tought guys boxing, i remember ray leonard saying dundee never tought me how to throw a right hand, but he reminded me of things i'd forgetton, dundee was more a consultant or a man manager and a motivator and damn good at it therefor being a perfect corner man for great natural talents like Ali and leonard, Cus on the other hand actually tought guys how to box and molded them into a way he wanted them to fight, they were both very good but with the right fighter, Cus wouldn't have got on or done well with Ali and Leonard just as dundee would've struggled with cus fighters, it maybe a roach/mayweather situation, both good but in the right circumstance
Dundee was agreat corner man, and great at geting already taught guys in shape, He was good trainer, not great. D'Amato could take guys from scratch and make them very good, or in Tyson' s case great, but Cus only taught that one style, and it was not right for a lot of fighters.
