Well RJJ is rated as one of the best eva, easily top 20 in most people's lists, so I would say Roy, and rather easily

Actually Trinidad entered a tournament to get to Hopkins. He was unsure of who he'd be facing. And seriously, you can't pick and choose your comparisons like that. Jones moved up from 160 and fought James Toney, who was certainly more highly regarded than Hopkins was at the time Trinidad fought him.

Jones also fought nearly every champion at LHW but one, and they couldn't come to terms. You can't just say, "Jones moved up to HW and fought Ruiz" and try to end it there in comparisons. You neglect to mention that he offered a fight to Lewis who publicly admitted to declining the offer. And Ruiz was 6 weight classes up from Jones start weight....I do applaud Trinidad for fighting nearly everyone he could. But that doesn't make his resume better.

Tito had 15 defenses of the IBF title....he wasnt lineal or unified until he beat OLH and Whitaker. Much Like Hopkins before he beat Tito. What does the number of defenses mean when at the time when there are two other people with belts? Whitaker was lineal and was p4p the best in the sport when Tito won his first title. Find it funny he waited 5 years til he was shot to fight him. Anyway, Reid and Vargas were very good young fighter but a case of needing more seasoning, taking nothing away from Tito but he lost Hopkins a fighter Jones beat. He took on all comers had a fighters attitude, but despite Jones being seen as a "what if"he still accomplsihed more and beat more champions

I'd say RJJ. He has title wins at heavier weights.

Dude, Roy is WAY more talented, but were talking LEGACY, big difference TO ME...........

Please don't think Roy was REALLY going to fight Lennox Lewis...Lennox declined because he KNEW it was bull****.....

Actually when I think of Roy's LEGACY, I think of ALL the proposed matches that didn't come through, even though I felt he would've won....Remember him challenging Holyfield, eh........

You are obviously a ****** who knows nothing about boxing if you think Roy Jones is lucky to be top 500 all time.

Actually, Lewis declined because he said he was unsure of his retirement plans. I love how you assume it was BS. When someone makes an assumption an jumps to one side, it's obvious their agenda.

And Jones actually said he didn't want to fight Holyfield because he was old. Said it on national TV.

Yes, Legacy is a big difference. Glad we agree.

We havent started yet son...class is in session. Camacho was way past prime as was prime, Whitaker was as well neither were kayoed, Mayorga was nothing over 147 and you know it, the fight was his first at 160 and he was made to order Thanks Don King, Oscar could have gone either way, and he obliterated Reid and Reid who were very promising young fighters Tito was a great fighter, but on the flipside lost to his best opponents...Winky Wright and Hopkins and damn near DLH.....

Here is a little info on Mr. Jones.....champions in 4 weight classes 2nd from 160-heavyweight in history, beat 14 champions including Hopkins, Toney, Virgil Hill, Vinny Pazienza, Mike McCallum, Eric Lucas, Tarver, Lou Del Valle, Reggie Johnson, John Ruiz, Jorge Castro, Jorge Vaca, Montell Griffin, and Clinton Woods....dominated gor 15 years and finally going 3-3 since declining like is contemporary but far more impressive.....chuuuuch

Tito spent too much time beating the likes of Ray Lovato, Rodney Moore, Kevin Lueshing, Mehenge Zulu, a welterweight version of Freddie "Deli Sandwich Maker" Pendelton, and looking inept whenever he faced a solid defensive boxer who wasn't old and strung out on yola.

i agree completely with this. This is very close honestly, And you could give this an edge to roy or tito soley on opposition not on talent, obviously rjj is like goat talent. But Tito never played games as far as who he wanted to fight, he fought ANYONE in his entire career and thats what seperates Tito from everyone else in boxing from our past 10-15 years of boxing. Look at Trinidads record, it is ****ing STACKED

Camacho, Campas, Carr, Whitaker, DLH, Reid, Vargas, Joppy, Hopkins, Mayorga, Wright, Roy Jones Jr..

So to the ***s that are in serious denial about how good Trinidad's resume is stfu, because that line up right there is legendary.
