Lol. You had credability to me for awhile but 120-109. Now you are just being stupid.

So you gave Tarver the round where he threw a total of 7 punches? While Jones landed 15 in that round?

You trying to oust PacDbest as the biggest nuthugger on this site ?

Your defense of RJJ, a cheater, is sickening. If it was in any other sport he'd be banned for life and stripped of his titles.

He lost to Tarver in the 1st match, tho not by all rounds as Jack Pres was saying, but comfortably lost. Even the commentators at the time couldnt believe it when it was given to Jones.

Too bad he got knocked out in the second fight or he probably would have had a Jermain Taylor-esque streak of dodgy decision going for him in the next few fights. **** HBO.

See, again, you didn't address my point. Hatred is a sad thing.

When you criticize Jones with something reasonable, then we can have a discussion. I simply presented you with the facts. You said he was the only one who scored it that way. That was a lie....or you just didn't know. Either way, you were wrong.

Yes, we all trust his judgement as much as yours.

That fight was actually similar to DLH Mayweather with Mayweather getting ounded on the ropes like Jones and then regaining control in the middle of the ring and popping DLH with single punches.

Ok I said that no one in the world had RJJ winning that fight except him, and the judges at the fight. I'll add blind, unreasonable die-hard Roy Jones fans such as yourself to that equation, and also people associated with Roy Jones and people with his best interestes at hand.

Everyone neutral had Tarver winning that fight. Tarver, one of the most over-rated fighters of all time ALONG with, ironically, Roy Jones himself.

Something reasonable to criticise Roy with ?

How about his complete LACK of reasonable opposition through his entire LHW reign, a streak regarded by Roy Jones fans as the best ever ?

He avoided DM because he wouldnt leave USA. He ducked Joe Calzaghe because he said Joe wasnt a big enough win for the risk (Said it himself). He avoided Benn and Collins and didnt fight Eubank although Eubank has said that he himself avoided him which is fair enough. He's run scared of Toney most of his career.

Priced himself out of countless Hopkins rematch proposals, knowing that Hopkins had improved and was now in many people's eyes odds-on to beat Roy.

Took anabolic steroids to beat journeymen like Hall. Your defence was that what he took was not banned by the IBF then. Well they are banned now.

Roy took on the worst heavyweight champion in history and then had the nerve to call out people like Lennox Lewis and Mike Tyson who Roy would not last 2 rounds with.

    Stop defending him.

I said reasonable. Not outright lies.

Most of press row and most of the media had the fight either a draw or a close win for Jones. So there is one lie.

Complete lack or reasonable opposition at LHW. 12 of the 15 fighter Jones fought there were top 10 or champions. If the top 10 or champion isn't reasonable opposition, what is?

Jones always refused to leave the states because of the Olympics. He was the draw and shouldn't have had too. And DM turned down offers to come here as well. You simply left out pertinant info there.

Even Calzaghe fans know Jones didn't avoid him. He did say Calzaghe was too high risk low reward. But they weren't in the same division. He was turned down by both Benn and Collins. Another lie on your part.

Offering Hopkins 60-40 was not pricing himself out. Hopkins knew he didn't deserve 50-50. He took less money to fight someone else thereafter than he would have made against Jones. Another lie on your part. Toney and Jones were never in the same divison after their fight, and Toney didn't win a title for almost what, a decade after Jones beat him? Why would you offer someone a rematch when the fight was 120-108 to most observers. Nice try....

Yup, Jones took a NON BANNED substance. Tested positive for steroids in that one fight (you at the time lied and said 2 times) Hall, the journeyman, tested positive that fight for ACTUAL BANNED substances and higher than Jones. The journeyman gave DM a helluva fight too.

Jones taking on ANY HW champion is a big deal. He started at 154. If that's all you got, then you have nothing.

Reasonable criticism is something like "Why didn't he fight Nunn" or "Why didn't he unify the MW titles". You made up half the stuff you said from your own perspective contrary to evidence otherwise.

During their prime both were the best.

Trinidad did fight the best of the best during his prime and beat most of them until he ran into hopkins.

Roy Jones was the same until he got knockout by tarver.

But i gotta give roy jones the edge here. He won more titles than tito.
