    Who do you think is a better nickname? drainer (for pac) or bloater (for floyd)

    both future atgs, both athletically gifted, but both being accused of carefully selecting the right opponents, the other one being accused of beating up old, shopworn, fighters and standing targets, while the other one being accused of picking on small men and avoiding the top dogs in his own damn division

    vote in the poll

    Pac the drainer. It's easier to move up than it is to move down!

    The TS means Pacquiao fights weight-drained opponents while Floyd has to bloat up to challenge the big men. :D

    floyd is used to fighting small men, like marquez and hatton, who has to go to his weight class to challenge him. whenever it is his same size, he opted to choose baldomir type or gatti(rip)type opponents.

    "Drainer" sounds more marketable.

    Pac fought HOya because it was his choice of weight but it was Hoya's choice. The Fact still remains that Pac JUMPED TWO DIVISIONS, while HOYA DROPPED 1 DIVISION DOWN in order for the fight to happen. So Hoya in effect was a bloater as well. In that fight, the "drainer" and the "bloater" fought, which is probably more sensible.

    In the Hatton fight,, Pac jumped 1 division up, while Hatton remained at 140, so no one is a drainer, while Hatton was a "bloater"

    Now in the Mayweather -Hatton fight, Hatton has to jump ONE DIVISION UP from 140, while Mayweather stayed at 147. So we have a bloater.

    In the Mayweather -JMM fight, JMM had to jump TWO DIVISIONS higher, while he remained at 147. So another Bloater.

    Overall score-

    Drainer - 1 (but the oppoenet is also a bloater) therefore minus 1 = 0

    Bloater = m1 + 1 = 2

    Clear winner, Bloater
