Who has a better Resume Froch or Calzaghe???

Calzaghe has the better record. People go on about who Froch has faced since he turned 31, but seriously would Joe lose to any of them?

 

I think if you look at their records on Boxrec Froch has the better resume, but I think without a doubt if any version of Calzaghe from the Eubank victory until retirement wins a very wide UD against Froch

For all those saying Calzaghe should have done this and done that after beating Jones Jr, you have to look at it in perspective - he was mid-late 30's with very bad hands - he had made himself undisputed at Super Middle and Light Heavy, and had 2 enormous pay days at the end of his career - he had nothing left to fight for....My only regret is that he had left ****** 10 years earlier and fought the biggest names, rather than plodding around defending his title against mandatorys

 

Froch has fought the best one after the other, did calzaghe? i no who i will miss more, when its over...

Joe for now, Carl can better his resume starting with Ward. He's not to far away but whether he can beat Ward,Bute and Kessler remains to be seen. It'll be amazing if he added them 3 names to his resume as wins.

Calzaghe won his title in 1997 against Eubank, and fought Kessler in 2007. For 10 years he never faced an elite fighter.

 

froch hasnt beaten the best, unless you think johnson, taylor, pascal, abraham and dirrell are the best super middleweights.

Eubank, hopkins, kessler, mitchell, reid, and woodhall are clearly better, yes they are more spread out than froch's top wins. but calzaghe has the better wins.

Who has froch beaten that you would rate higher than kessler, eubank and hopkins?

Froch has had a better run than Calzaghe ever had, but over a career Joe's resume is better.

If Carl goes and beats Ward then that might change things significantly.
