No contest, Povetkin by far!!! VADA cleared Povetkin, but Haymon's WBC refused to allow Povetkin to knock Wilder out, Wilder has HAYMON BOXING INSURANCE!

Remember Wilder was set to defend against the Polish dude that Povetkin had blasted out in a couple of rounds. Cheapskate bum Deontay.

pov, he has huck win, which tops anything wilder has done.

that said, pov has little else, wilder would overtake him if he faces someone elite and wins.

and besdies, as said earlier - its not a fair like for like point of career comparison.

having said that young povs besrt win was still huck, so point of career hes still better!

if we are being fair though there are very few HW champs who, by age 32, have their best win as a near 40 year old gatekeeker. vitali was arguably the last one to do that (v. sanders), before that, it hasnt happened for a LOOOONG time. few champions sunk so low or had such little respect of their audience as to pass off a near 40something as their best win.

    Resume?

Simple minded peasants at it again...

King Deontay Wilder is never working for anybody, resume is for peasants...

Once the Fighting stage of his majesty is over, prepare for a much bigger era of literal subjugation...Statues will be erected in every Metropolis in honor to the God of Violence, Literature will be flooded by the heroics of King Deontay Wilder eventually representing most of recorded boxing history...The lucky peasants are the brighter peasants who start accepting the new reality early...

The only fights we will have in the future is conflicts on whose statue of Deontay Wilder is better, expecting strong conflicts between the early believers of Deontay Wilder and the recent but powerful New comers.

Haymon might not be the best promoter, but he is very smart at picking the right side, he basically ensured his future relevance by acknowledging Deontay Wilder sovereignty early on...Hearn is on the fence, but soon he will have to make very difficult choices regarding the fate of Femi...

Povetkin has never beaten an elite hvw. Why is this even being asked?
