Cotto: 7 wins & 2 losses. Wins over Quintana, Urkal, Judah, Mosley, Gomez, Jennings & Clottey. Losses to Margarita & Pacquiao.

Mayweather: 7 wins & 0 losses. Wins over Mitchell, Judah, Baldomir, Hatton, JMM, Mosley & Ortiz.

The two common wins (Judah & Mosley) should pretty much cancel each other out, so the question is really Quintana, Urkal, Gomez, Jennings and Clottey vs. Mitchell, Baldomir, Hatton, JMM and Ortiz. :think

You have to take into account how the person won. You can't seriously give Cotto the same props for barely beating mosley as you give Mayweather for schooling him. This poll is a joke.

Mayweather - Ortiz, Mosley, Baldomir, Judah, Mitchell, Hatton, Marquez

Cotto - Mosley, Margarito, Judah, Jennings, Gomez, Urkal, Quintana, Pacquiao, Clottey

    My vote goes for Cotto.

Using your logic, Chop Chop Corley probably has the GOAT JrWW resume.

I'd say Mayweather, but it's a close one because guys like Hatton, Marquez and Judah had nothing to do at WW. They're good fighters with names, tough... Cotto has a good resume, but lost 2 times and barely got by Clottey.

I'm surprised to see how close the poll is. People are finally learning and seeing that fights where someone was thoroughly dominated shouldn't count as positives. There's more to it than just the cover of the book

gotta go with Cottoe. BUT he has lost twice at this weight and had 2 iffy decisions against Mosley and Clottey. but all in all hes got those names on his record.

Mayweather. Hatton-Ortiz are better than Clottey-Quintana. Everybody else cancels out(Judah-Mosley cancel out Judah-Mosley, Mitchell-Baldomir-JMM cancel out Urkal-Gomez-Jennings) and losses don't help you, it would be like applying for CEO of GE, not getting the job then somehow thinking you should be praised for applying.
