Mr. STRUGG, you been pushing Pacquiao is shot pretty hard. They weren't saying that when he dominated Algieri, they weren't saying that when he avenged his loss to Bradley. They weren't saying that when he beat up Rios for 12 rounds. Now it's he's shot? I'll take Pacquiao lack of effort due to his shoulder injury, the truth is Mayweather > any version of Pacquiao. Been saying it for years, as with 90% of boxing opinion was mayweather beats Pacquiao.

Both wins are 100% legit. To say otherwise is idiotic.

Bum knee that takes Martinez best asset away, his movement. Vs Pacquiao bum shoulder that as far as I seen in the fight he threw without looking like he was in pain.

You have to go with Floyd's win, he controlled the range with jabs and counter rights and footwork. Pacquiao was in no hurry to rush in on mayweather vs that jab. He smother Pacquiao's work by clinching or getting out of the way. It was a classic Mayweather fight when it boils down to it. 2009 Pacquiao would have been more energetic but still lose vs that style.

    No, Rummy.

You have to put a giant asterisk beside Cotto's win over Sergio.

Man's knees were utterly shot, and that was evident a minute into the fight.

Can you envisage Cotto beating the Martinez who beat Junior ?

    Or Pavlik ?

    Or Williams ?

Cotto is not a top 5 MW at this point.

He would lose to Chocolate, Lee, Murray, and GGG.

Probably Sturm and Macklin as well, and maybe others.

Daniel Geale is the best MW he could hope to beat, and that's a 50-50 proposition.

    His timing was right.:yep

Floyd's win was clear and legit.

You should probably watch the Cotto v Martinez post fight interview with Sergio. EVERYONE knew he had two bad knees. He didn't use it as an excuse. He congratulated Cotto. Max ask hims about the obvious knees and he says, "there is a time to win and a time to lose. I lost tonight"

    That's CLASS!

Mayweather easily. And Maravilla was gracious in defeat... Cotto did what was necessary but anyone could see that wasn't half the Martinez he used to be, Pacquiao looked game as hell to everyone unbiased during the fight.

How is this even a question?? Didn't you see Martinez wheel chair his way in with no legs, then get out with his crutches and proceed to attack Cotto with only mean looks, menacing eye brows, and the occasional grimace??

On a serious tip, I saw nothing wrong with either coming in, Pac never at any time, and Sergio couldn't walk...after Cotto landed that massive left hook on him. Both are legitimate wins.

You'd have to compare the Martinez that fought Chavez to the one that fought Murray and then the even worse one that fought Cotto.
Compare the Pacman that fought Marquez then Rios then recently Bradley/Algieri to the Mayweather one, I didn't see as stark a contrast as the Martinez degradation, Pacquiao is by far the superior and legitimate victory, shoulder issues or not, it wasn't why he lost.
