It's a difficult one. But take into account that both fighters have different styles and that Pacquiao with the way he fights gets hit cleaner and harder more frequently.

What a ridiculous comparison. Mosley hit Mayweather a lot less than he hit Margarito and certainly less cleanly. Apart from the 2nd where he clearly hurt Mayweather he didn't really land another significant clean punch to the head all night. You think Mayweather would be standing longer than Margarito had he been subjected to the same punishment?

That's down to their contrast in styles though.

Mayweather's chin certainly hasn't been tested as much as Pacquiao's has.

Not saying that means Pacquiao has the definitively better chin of the two but I think it's a lot tougher to argue in Floyd's favor when his chin hasn't been tested to the same degree.

It's hard to say. However, Pacquiao has taken a lot more shots in recent fights while wobbling less than Mayweather. Mosley is a strong accumulative puncher but he isn't a one punch KO artist. It's lazy to brand him one. Like Miguel Cotto - to whom he has very similar KO % - he tends to stop his better victims late on.

Floyd was rocked a bit against Corley and Mosley.

Pac was KO with a chin shot, was also down for about 10 seconds against Hussein, was hurt very bad by MAB, was put on ***** street by Solis, and Larios, and was chicken dancing against JMM.

    Do the math.

For your argument to succeed, it depends on the two premises that "weak chins are the only attributes that can lead to a knockdown" AND "iron chins are the only attributes that can keep a fighter from being knocked down." Since poor defense and overly aggressive strategy are two other attributes that can lead to knockdowns, since excellent defense and lack of aggression are two other attributes that can prevent a knockdown, your argument is a complete and utter failure in logic.

PAC took everything from COTTO and wasnt hurt once.

MOSLEY landed 1 punch on Floyd and basically knocked him out.

    ENOUGH SAID!

You know, each time there's a Pac/Mayweather poll it's so unrelieable because every ***** votes for Floyd and every ******* votes for Pac.

My honest opinion is Pac only because I think it's been tested more than Floyd's (Thanks to his sweet defence)

Mayweather had to put Mosley in an arm bar to keep from going down...I don't know why people are saying his chin is granite all the sudden. HE got hit cleanly, and was wobbled..just because he didn't go down doesn't mean he has a granite chin. It just means he didn't get hit cleanly enough.

I didn't pick either choice, because at this point...who's to say?

Floyd got caught clean and did the right thing. He was clever and didnt allow it to get any worse. Does anyone agree that those two shots would have knocked Pac down?

Oscar De la Hoya busted Mayweather nose in rd 12 with a clean flush lefthook, and Mayweather barely flinched.

He's been KO and KD by less, so Yes, highly likely he would have been down.

Manny is not a natural 145/147 fighter but took Cotto's shots with no problem.
