Who has a the best resume at the middle-weight out of current fighters?

Pavlik? Really?

Golovkin has been displaying more impressive performances, reigned for a longer time, had more title defenses, stopped every challenger and overall has better quantity of opponents.

Sergio does have a couple of more recognizable names such as Chavez Jr (just a name, not much accomplishments wise) or let's say Pavlik, but that doesn't beat 13 title defenses with 13 stoppages, especially considering that many of those opponents were highly rated middleweights at the time (for example, Geale was rated top 3 at the time, was 2-time champion and unified champion).

Sorry, but Sergio doesn't have much of a case.

GG's been a pro for almost 9 years and he hasn't even been in one give and take fight. Has he even been rocked? Has his chin been tested? He's beaten guys after they were in wars lol. Stop it lol...

How convenient not to ask that question. Or to ask which fighter's resume could have included the other but did not because he ducked him. The use of Pavlik by Sergio fans is also interesting. On this forum for all purposes Pavlik is a bum. Except when talking about Sergio's (or Hopkins') resume. Then Pavlik becomes a prime ATG.

The fact is that GGG is a much better fighter than Pavlik. Saying Sergio's resume is greater because it includes Pavlik is ridiculous.

 

Pavlik was never a bum. And Sergs resume speaks for itself. For an ex jmw, he's done well at mw. GG's been fighting for almost 9 years and he's beaten a couple of guys Martinez has beaten already and who else?
