Price reminds me of Mike Weaver....both were ko,d but came back! Maybe Price gets lucky with a punch or 2....
Don't get whats with Joshua and having a bad chin. Every pro has been shaken before with a good shot. Plus like the guy above said, Joshua never even had been knockdown or had a count in the pros and if I remember wlad was knocked out by brewster and corrie sanders. I think their is a hate for Joshua in this forum and its kinda annoying. Most guys 17 fights into their career didn't fight amazing opposition with the exception of a few. His next match with Vlad is going to open up the doors, wilder will be in the mix as well to fight him as well and he'll finally establish himself I believe.
Joshua since turning pro hasn't even slipped. He's fought no one that's brought it to him like Whyte had. Breazeale kind of...but lacked speed. I don't think anyone's landed a good punch on him since Whytes hook and that's a credit to him but where it rains punches, one of them will get through and then, can you weather the storm? Like I said before, Joshuas got a suspect chin but if he finishes his career without getting tagged, then that gives others with that disadvantage hope.
My question is, what makes it suspect? Anybody would have been shaken by that shot from Whyte, especially because how clean it was. If anything it's his defense and movement that he should improve.
Countless times of being knocked. You probably don't know Joshua that well cos if you did, you'd know he's been hurt before. Top champions don't get knocked in sparring A LOT. Tyson did, but that was when he was clearly on the decline. Klitschko doesn't get knocked in sparring and a lot of others. They don't have these episodes that Joshua has. Joshua has embraced this IMO he needs to.
You're right I don't know Joshua that well but I know enough to say it's way too early to say he has a anywhere near a bad chin. Will have to see what the future holds and thats it. Nobody can really come up with a conclusion yet.
Well there's enough evidence to suggest he does have one. It's not entirely a bad thing though, Lennox Lewis had a glass jaw but he's one of the greats. It's important to realise it as a weakness and to work on those weaknesses.
Yea that is true about lennox. I think theirs plenty of guys with subpar chins that are still great because they know how to defend themselves correctly. Can you say the same about wilder? I've seen him shook a few times.
