As one would expect, Ali has the most wins over Olympic champions (gold medal winners), 6 in all. If that wasn't enough (and it should be!) then if Buster Mathis had made it to the Olympics (replaced late by frazier who he soundly beat during olympic qualification) then you could easily surmise that figure would be 7 wins over 5 guys of much higher quality than wlads and higher than lewis, and more wins than either of them. several other lower ranked medal winnners unfortunately did not have the quality to make it as top pros and challenge ali for his title - had they done so, ali would obviously have racked up more heads in this department.
It's an honest question. I kinda new the answer, but wasn't sure if I missed someone. I didn't count 6 for Ali, only 4. Foreman Frazier Leon Spinks Patterson Regardless, Wlad will be the leader after he beats 2 more (he could go for 3). Wilder Glazkov Joshua
regardless you will keep on spouting rubbish about wlad fighting fatboys , yes, true. regardless of what you say, ali still won more fights in this category, and of higher calibre. and more importantly, regardless of what wlad fights now, despite ali having the massive disadvantage of crippling illness. wlad doesn't, and wont, come close, even given massive advantages.
Ali beat in addition to the ones listed several amateur medalist. As an example on his gold medal run he beat Gennadi Schatkov who was had won it all in 1956.
Um ... Lennox Lewis never fought Rid**** Bowe in the pros. So, that would put him at five, tied with Wlad. Also with five wins is Holyfield. EVANDER HOLYFIELD - 5 Rid**** Bowe (1988 Olympic Silver Medalist) Ray Mercer (1988 Olympic Gold Medalist) Brian Nielsen (1992 Olympic Bronze Medalist) Henry Tillman (1984 Olympic Gold Medalist) George Foreman (1968 Olympic Gold Medalist) Tyson has four ... if the Golota win wasn't ruled a No Contest later, he'd have five. (Tillman, Biggs, Spinks, Nielsen and Golota). Surprisingly, Lamon Brewster has four. LAMON BREWSTER - 4 Wlad Klitschko (1996 Gold Medalist) Nate Jones (1996 Bronze Medalist) Luan Krasniqi (1996 Bronze Medalist) Andrew Golota (1988 Bronze Medalist)
Wlad has also beaten some World Amateur Medalists: Haye (2001 Silver Medalist) Chagaev (2001 Gold Medalist) Pulev (2005 Bronze Medalist)
A lot of guys medaled at the World's - Serge Liakhovich, Larry Donald, Tony Tucker, Lawrence Clay-Bey, Alex Garcia, Sinan Samil Sam, Ramon Garbey, Dale Brown ...
