The worrying thing for Wilder is that everytime he gets tagged, he gets hurt.

Joshua has been hurt just twice.....

Once against Wlad, and once when extremely naive against Whyte.

Joshua's movement against Parker was exceptional, for a guy who had shown virtually no movement in his career.

    Joshua appears to be learning.
Wilder appears to be getting caught, and hurt, with silly shots against limited opposition fight after fight.

    Flexibility isn't a weakness.....

Being able to win fights in a variety of ways is an asset, one which Wilder wished he had.

    Fair enough.

I just assumed you claiming he was 'reluctant to throw combinations' was a negative.
The 'Great Heavyweights'.....Won fights often as the 'Boring Heavyweights' by just jabbing and not getting hit.

It's pretty clear when Joshua and Wilder meet there can only be 3 outcomes.

    1 - Joshua by KO
    2 - Wilder by KO
    3 - Joshua by points

oh that was negative. but as a whole, i was waiting for a performance as mature as the Parker fight and he showed more facets to his game. i just would've liked to see him throw more combinations

Joshua was tested more fighting Vlad. He fought one of the best in history and size and took the punch and came back, and Vlad was still good and won. Wilder never beat that level. No matter what.

AJ willl have had less fights than Wilder by the time they fight why would he be shop worn, he hardly got hit by Parker, Wilder got hit a lot more by Ortiz and was in bad trouble, too much of that and his punch resistance will deplete quickly.
