No...Arce didnt want to go the Thailand and they wouldnt offer Pong anything reasonable. They werent going to risk going to purse bid because they knew there is a big chance they could have lost. Arum wasnt prepared to put the kind of money up that Pong's handlers could. The WBC then allowed both guys to be champ for pretty much as long as they wanted, as long as they were getting sanctioning fees they didnt care...Quite a farcical situation, that I think both sides were happy with. Either way Pong would have schooled him quite convincingly.
