frazier for me , holmes is not going to have the power to stop frazier ,holmes takes the first two rounds then joe starts smokin, holmes still lands a good percentage of his jabs and frazier does show this around his eyes. holmes may be still ahead on the cards but frazier is working on holmes body through-out
the middle rounds and hitting holmes on the hips to slow his movement and arms to make his hands drop further so for me frazier outworks holmes to take a close ud or even force a very late stoppage

Marciano, Louis, Tyson, Frazier, Lewis would have a good chance for a KO, Ali would outpoint him IMO

David Tua (Holmes doesn't get up from this)
    Mike Tyson
    Vitali Klitschko
    Wladimir Klitschko
    Chris Byrd
Orlin Norris (not a favorite , but does have chance)
    Lennox Lewis
    James Toney
    Roy Jones (maybe)
Jameel McCline (in his prime he was more than just good , had a serious series of wins then)
Ibeabuchi (just worth mentioning , i really don't know if he could win this)
    Holyfield (prime)
Ali (i believe it should be an even close fight - like so many times with ali , too many times)

i see holmes as a better version of ken norton , something like ali.
they had similar styles didn't they ?

Not really, no. Holmes and Norton fought almost nothing alike.

Tyson. Tyson was trained from day to specifically beat Holmes. DAmato always thought Holmes would still be champ when Tyson got to him and they spent long hours working on beating him.

Interesting viewpoint. I would n't give half those guys a chance. Still, this is the beauty of debate. No,Holmes and Norton were polls apart, stylistically.

Holmes could be brought down a peg by those with a busy left jab. The Tim Witherspoon match demonstrates this, as does his bout with "Truth" Williams. Take Larry's jab away, or nullify it to an extent, and he could be forced to fight.

Pick those with busy left jabs and go from there.

Williams gave Holmes fits merely cuz he was a younger version of Holmes in 1985........ Christ, I thought "The Truth" was gonna be the next sure thing to claim fame at heavyweight... But then Williams was exposed in 1986 by Mike Weaver and again in 1989 by Tyson......... So, in a sense, Carl Williams became a lie........

Mike Weaver in a rematch. Also Greg Page, Gerrie Coatzee, and Michael Dokes. 3 guys he did not fight, one who could never get rematch.

Tim Witherspoon deserved rematch, he only had 15 fights when he fought Holmes

strange that last line. cause ali beats holmes on almost every point. for example : speed, the capacity to take a punch (holmes could take a punch but not as good as ali), ring general ship, etc etc
i think very highly of larry holmes but a prime ali vs a prime holmes is gonna be won by ali most of the times
