Who has better boxing ability? Brook or Thurman and who wins

This is one of the few WW match ups I can't name a favorite or even pick someone to root for. They are both very good and fun to watch as well. I hope they fight before the end of 2016 and not wait until one of them makes too much money to lose motivation for hard work and just get knocked out while being called "he was never that good anyway". Because they were both very good for a long time they did not fight.

 

I can agree with that. I hope they fight soon though I'd like to see them sort it out though ..No one knows of Brook can take a punch from a guy like Thurman though.

 

One thing I'm seeing here is that Brook's power is underrated and Thurman's overrated. I think Thurman has the edges but it's only a slight one.

Brook has stopped 21 of his last 25 opponents.

The one's he didn't are Carson Jones in the fight he was ill prepared for (though stopped him in a rematch), Lovemore N'dou and Matthew Hatton who both claimed Brook hits harder at Welterweight than Canelo does at Jr Middleweight and Brook clearly hurt them more, and Porter who has a solid chin.

 

Close call, but I give a slight edge to Brook.........................

 

Most likely Thurman because brooks too basic IMO. However both are untested so difficult to say.

 

Brook would win this, Thurman has even said that it would be the most difficult fight in the division for him at this point and he would maybe have to travel to the UK for it!! Thurman said he would rather face Khan or MAY be easier fights, not too sure on that but thats his opinion.

50 - 50 fight. But both of them wouldn't fight since they are busy fighting bums.

When was the last time we had a boxing match where we couldn't determine the winner before the fight? All fighers are fighting safe fights.

But, should agree, Porter - Borner was a good match up. But is rare.

 

Brook jabs his ears off. Thurmans hands to low and loads up on everyshot.

 

Bundu took Thurman the distance.


I'm not sure if Bundu could take Brook the distance.


I rate Bundu on the Frankie Gavin level. Perhaps slightly better than Gavin. Euro level.

 

Brook is better than Thurman IMO.

Brook is more textbook while Thurman is a bit more dynamic boxer puncher. I would say Brook tho.
