You're a sad man.. There are tons of threads and posts explaining why they think Pac has a better chance ofbeating Floyd than JMM..

    01. JMM hasn't fought at 140+
    02. Floyd has trouble with fast, southpaw fighters

Theres many more reasons.. Why are you the only one still hating on Pac? Lose your house betting against him?

I have a reason to believe he lost his house when he bet for Hatton. He's now living in the Tent City by the park.

I voted for jmm, and I posted this in other thread so I will paste it here...

For me personally I think it would be easier for Floyd beat pacquiao than marquez, Marquez is very intelligent and yes he is the smaller man in the fight but marquez problems comes with pressure fighters which floyd doesnt have that, of course floyd should be a large favorite and I do think he will win but Pacquiao would get caught in a ton of occasions by floyd just like marquez caught pacquiao and people understimate FMJ power, how many times did marquez counter on pac? Lots of times, now imagine those counter punches with floyd power...I agree with Pimp C, this fight would be close the first 3 rounds, after that FMJ would adjust and just outbox counter and win with ease maybe by KO just like he koed hatton, I am not comparing hatton with pac at all, pac is miles away from hatton but pac does the same mistakes as before he leaves just wide open when he throw the straight left, mayweather would capitalize huge in that, hatton couldnt do it because is not that type of fighter but mayweather? cmon mayweather timing is amazing , I see mayweather having more trouble with marquez because marquez intelligence in the ring is so much better than pacquiao, he doesnt have the pacquiao athletism but he looks in a ring like he is reading a book or playing a chess match, before he throws a punch he already knows what he will do if he doesnt land or if he lands, if the opponent turns right or left just like when he is waiting for a punch, just like mayweather but I think that JMM is a little more intelligent than FMJ in the ring, thats the only advantage a might get to marquez against mayweather, they are very similar, but floyd far more athletic with more power and jmm a little more agressive, thats why i think it will be a decent interesting kind of close fight but at the end floyd will win, not as wide decision as many people think but he will win ok, on the other hand floyd can explote so much more mistakes pac does, and yes you can say pacquiao is very fast and you can say his quickness is unbelieveble(which it is) but I dont think that would bother floyd at all at least past the 3rd round after he sees all pacquiao moves, fmj is just as fast as pacquiao so if marquez could explote all those mistakes pacquiao KEEP doing(which I think, but hatton wasnt the type of fighter he would know how to explote) imagine a faster, more powerful, with a better chin and a hell of a defence improve version of jmm(FMJ) can do to him... And i am not a pacquiao hater, I like the guy, his personality make me root for him but being serious I think marquez would be more difficult for floyd than pac...

    divac,

i VOTED for jmm to satisfy you!

if i voted for pac, you will say the poll was dominated by *******s!

poll in reality sometimes differ in real life. who know's jmm might upset

    pbf..

here's my take in the jmm vs pbf

if pbf wins the early rounds of the fight, he'll be running away in the later rounds while jmm tries his best to engage in a toe to toe with pbf to possibly get some points!

or pbf ko's jmm in the mid rounds

or pbf wins on points on a boring fight

or jmm schools pbf in a 12round majority decision

One interesting thing to consider is what version of Mayweather would be fighting Pacquiao or Marquez. Marquez is getting a 32-year-old Marquez who could be a bit rusty. If Pacquiao were to fight Mayweather, we probably assume this means he's beaten Marquez, suggesting Mayweather could be still at the top of his game. However, Floyd is not getting any younger.

Marquez could potentially give a rusty Mayweather plenty of trouble because of his precise punching and his tendency to throw one of two more punches than you'd be prepared for. However, I can't get over the jump in weight for Marquez (part of the reason I was not a fan of this fight being announced).

I had my doubts about Pacquiao moving up in weight, but he's proven what he can do in the 140-147 pound range. Marquez so far has been successful rising in weight, but can he make this last large jump? Maybe so, but he hasn't proven it.

Solely for that reason, I give Pacquiao a better chance IF Mayweather is not too rusty. I think both fighters have their own strengths in facing a guy like Mayweather, but Mayweather has a lot of his own strengths over them.

Clearly Pacquiao. The speed, southpaw stance, agressiveness, alot of punches, preety good accuracy, its not even close.

Pac adapts?? The reason he is succesful is because of his freakish speed and power. He is not one to make too many changes during the course of a fight.
JMM is the definition of adapting...

depends on how jmm handles the higher weight, which is still up in the air.
